About the role
We’re looking for a creative and organised Content Marketing Specialist to help deliver engaging marketing campaigns across the Don’t Panic events portfolio.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Creative Team, you’ll produce high-quality content for websites, email campaigns, social media and CRM platforms. You’ll play a key role in promoting event launches, increasing entries and ticket sales, engaging our community and supporting customer retention.
You’ll also use campaign insights, CRM data and AI tools to improve performance, identify opportunities and streamline content production, while collaborating with colleagues and external stakeholders across multiple projects.
Key responsibilities
- Create engaging content across websites, email marketing, social media and other digital channels.
- Plan and manage content calendars across multiple campaigns and events.
- Support event launches, entry campaigns, ticket sales and customer engagement.
- Manage digital content hubs and social media channels.
- Measure campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Use CRM systems, audience data and AI tools to improve marketing activity.
- Work with designers and the wider marketing team to deliver campaigns.
- Build and engage online communities.
- Attend events in the UK and overseas to capture content when required.
Skills & experience
- Degree in Marketing, English, Creative Writing or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3–4 years’ experience in content marketing or a similar role.
- Excellent copywriting, proofreading and communication skills.
- Experience creating content for websites, email marketing and social media.
- Understanding of CRM platforms, audience segmentation and digital marketing.
- Experience planning and managing multiple content campaigns.
- Confident using AI tools to improve workflows while maintaining quality.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Desirable
- SEO and content optimisation knowledge.
- WordPress or another CMS.
- HubSpot or similar CRM platform.
- Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Agency or fast-paced marketing experience.
What you need to apply
This is a full-time, fixed-term hybrid position based in Rawtenstall. As our office is not easily accessible by public transport, access to a car may be beneficial.
You’ll also be happy to travel occasionally to events across the UK and internationally as part of the role.
