For any awards programme, there’s a lot to do. Saluting the stars of your industry is not easy!

Spreading the word through appropriate channels, convincing people to enter, sourcing sponsorship and prizes, and selling tables. Creating an identity for the award programme, putting together promotional collateral, and building an online portal to manage all entries, the judging process, and coordinate online nominations and voting.

And then there is the awards dinner itself. Securing a memorable venue, organising the catering, providing key-note speakers, and hiring superstar DJs.

We Are Search

In 2011, we detected a gap in the market for a truly outstanding celebration of the expertise, talent, and achievement of SEO, PPC, and content marketing agencies in the UK. With the support of sector leaders, Don’t Panic initiated the most respected national search award event in the country which has gone from strength to strength.

Today, Don’t Panic produces search awards events in Europe, in the United States, and in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Don’t Panic can, with justification, be considered the International Voice of Search.

UK Search Awards

Since 2011, we have provided the UK’s search marketing industry with an awards ceremony it can take immense pride in. A distinguished international panel sits in judgement across 30 categories and, because this is our event and we set the rules, our judges are not permitted to enter themselves, making this (and all of our search events) among the most ethical and transparent digital industry award schemes in the world.

We place a great emphasis on independent expert judging. We make sure we have a balanced judging panel with senior in house and agency side communications professionals.

EU Search Awards

In April 2017, our sixth European Search Awards was held in Krakow, Poland. The event attracted hundreds of entries from leading search and digital agencies and professionals from all over Europe and followed those held in Amsterdam (2012), Barcelona (2013), Reykjavik (2014), Berlin (2015), and Paris (2016).

We place a great emphasis on independent expert judging. We make sure we have a balanced judging panel with senior in house and agency side communications professionals.

US Search Awards

In 2013, with the success of the UK and European Search Awards secured, we introduced the event format to the United States in association with headline sponsor Bing. Held each year as part of Pubcon, the US Search Awards is an acclaimed addition to the digital marketing calendar in the United States, attracting 300 guests to glitzy Las Vegas venues.

MENA Search Awards

In May 2017, we hosted the inaugural the MENA Search Awards, celebrating the best of SEO and PPC in the Middle East and North Africa. The event took place in the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai and we anticipate many more to come.

UK Biddable Media Awards

2017 witnessed the inauguration of yet another Don’t Panic branded awards event. The UK Biddable Media Awards were held at the Montcalm Hotel in central London to celebrate and reward the expertise, talent, and achievements of the nation’s biddable media industry. It proved to be the premiere event for the biddable media sector and attracted leading brands, agencies, media, and technology providers.

Interactive Marketing Awards

The Interactive Marketing Awards will launch in 2018 to celebrate and reward excellence in campaigns, agencies and in-house teams across interactive marketing.

The inaugural awards will be presented at a celebratory gala dinner at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Centre in Florida, as part of Pubcon SFIMA.

UK App Awards

In November 2017, the first UK App Awards will be held to recognise and reward excellence in apps developed in the UK. We have created 29 categories honouring exceptional design and UX (user experience) in a range of verticals, as well as awards for agencies, individuals, and in-house teams.

UK Social Media Communications Awards

Once known as the “some comms awards” and returning for its eighth year in 2017, the UK Social Media Communications Awards celebrates exceptional talent and innovation in social media communications. The awards are open to all creative, design, digital, marketing, advertising, media, and public relations organisations that are based in the UK.

UK Public Sector Communications Awards

Created in 2013, the UK Public Sector Communications Awards crowns outstanding communication strategies and campaigns, teams, and individuals in local and national government, emergency services, and not-for-profit bodies from across the UK. The three-course awards dinner is preceded by an afternoon conference session featuring presentations delivered by industry experts.

UK Content Awards

A new venture for 2017, the UK Content Awards will celebrate excellence in content marketing. The awards will reward agencies and in-house teams creating high quality, valuable content which attracts, informs, engages and retains an audience to ultimately deliver traffic and profit.
