This one day conference is the first CIPR event in the North West dedicated to corporate reputation management; what reputation is, its value as an asset, how it translates to the bottom line and its measurement both on and offline.
Active stakeholders, an economic downturn and a number of high profile corporate failures is combining with a growing mistrust of corporate entities and leading to a heightened sensitivity of the value of reputation among organisations. The result? Boards and senior management turning to the public relations practitioner to act as the ‘guardian of corporate reputation'.
The PR and communications professional must, now more than ever, be able understand, then evidence and implement an organisation's reputation credentials. What's more, they must be able to articulate the role of corporate elements including governance, employees, leadership and CSR in affecting reputation. Then they must help to prove that their organisation is transparent, authentic and consistent.
This is a rare opportunity to hear from leading experts, practitioners and academics who are redefining reputation management and its importance to the public relations profession.
The conference takes place on Thursday 18 February 2010 at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
